Great Aunt Patu Toomalatai married Avamalefono Taupule of Aunuu. Their children are Pa'ulaau, Tineiafi, Sau, Taa, Tofu, Leai, Leatuvai, Ovataimi, Tavale and Laufofoga. I may have missed somebody but I will update it when I confirm this information. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Great Aunt Patu loved playing cards with anyone. She was an avid card player and often challengers find it hard to win a game of suipi against her. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. One thing I remember about her was her smile. She had a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face whenever a family member visited her. She found another victim for her suipi game.
She shared this talent of the suipi game with her sister Ameteolepala. One can tell one of them had won the game because one would get up and dance and the other would take cover under a blanket. it was quite a scene to see.
